Using congou with a long curly leaf style, Rose's Delight is both a scented and a flavored tea in that the tea is originally scented with rose petals and then flavored a tiny bit with natural rose oil. Before sealing, additional rose petals are added. The result is a very fragrant rose aroma yet due to the natural rose oil, the taste is mild in the cup. For culinary preparation, Rose's Delight may be made into a tea bread glaze or as a syrup for other beverages. It puts the "wow" in a Rose Italian Soda. Rose-flavored beverages are sometimes consumed to cleanse the palate and freshen the breath.
